Gracie and Zach and the Death of my Nikon D3…..
If there was any way for my Nikon D3 camera Shutter to finally take its last breath, then there was no better way to have it go while Photographing my Niece and Nephew. The kiddos like always are so much fun and we managed to get them ….(bribe them)…to stand still for 5 min. Big smiles on there faces, I snapped away with the Old Nikon D3, 70-200mm 2.8 and the Sigma 50mm 1.4 ART Lens. On the very last frame the shutter stopped and the good old Err. came up on the screen. I had been wondering about this moment for years. Thinking, will this shoot be the shoot? Oh well. She was a good camera while she lasted and her last images…I think, turned out pretty good!
