The Captain | Nikon Z7 My father Sverre worked as a Tug Boat captain for over 40 years. Here is a short Documentary about his life on the water. Now at the age of 86, my dad talks about a couple of scary experiences and challenges throughout his career. Sverre first came to North America in the 1950s, on a ship into Ellis Island in New York. Eventually, he made his way west to Vancouver Island Canada to become a logger. After 3 years of logging, where he cut down a Red Cedar that was carved into one of the worlds largest totem poles and then given as a gift to the Queen of England, Sverre then applied to become a Tug Boat Mate. A job that was only supposed to last for 3 days ended up lasting for over 40 years. Film shot on: Nikon Z7 Sigma 85mm f1.4 art Sony a6500 Sigma 35mm f1.4 art
