We are well in to the end of March, here in the Bitterroot. The days have been warming up little by little, until we woke up to a beautiful blanket of fresh snow and mist across the valley. I grabbed my Pentax 645z and threw on my Muck boots, still wearing my PJ's, started snapping away. Our Mule Pebble and and buddy Showgun where great models and it all kinda came together.
Here are some of the beautiful Bitterroot Morning Images:

Gracie and Zach and the Death of my Nikon D3.....
If there was any way for my Nikon D3 camera Shutter to finally take its last breath, then there was no better way to have it go while Photographing my Niece and Nephew. The kiddos like always are so much fun and we managed to get them ....(bribe them)...to stand still for 5 min. Big smiles on there faces, I snapped away with the Old Nikon D3, 70-200mm 2.8 and the Sigma 50mm 1.4 ART Lens. On the very last frame the shutter stopped and the good old Err. came up on the screen. I had been wondering about this moment for years. Thinking, will this shoot be the shoot? Oh well. She was a good camera while she lasted and her last images...I think, turned out pretty good!

These images are from a 2012 backpacking trip to Peru. I had a Nikon D700 and 70-200mm 2.8 Lens with me. Hiking through the Mountains and towns.
Here are the re-edits:
Machu Picchu Panorama. Still one of the most amazing places that I have ever visted!
