Mediterranean life
I was incredibly lucky to spend the past 8 Days on the beautiful Island of Malta. Its an amazing country full of kind people, good food, incredible history and of course; amazing architecture. The rugged Island coast line boast some of the most impressive fortified cities, build centuries ago during the time of the Crusaders and the Ottoman Empire. The Island is overwhelmingly historical and the architecture of the cities is definitely impressive. Malta sit's only around 90km or so off the coast of Sicily and you can definitely see the influence in the food in Malta. Fresh pasta's, sauces and fish!
Here are some samples of my Mediterranean trip!
The amazing Commando restaurant, owned by my friend Rossana and Damien Ciappara. The food was amazing and the service and atmosphere made me to and eat there almost every night!
Goat Cheese from Gozo, breaded and freed on some caramelized onions and spinach with reduced balcamic vinegar. YUM!
