X process

I put a roll of Fuji ISO 400 Slide Film into my Nikon F3 Camera and snapped some shots off the other day. The C41 film was then X-Processed at the Lab and here are some of the results.

Shooting and processing film in this manner is the direct reason why you have all of those fancy filters in your Instagram...difference is, this was the original way to get that contrasty, heavy red/green look.

A couple of the images are in Black and White, which I edited in photoshop, but the rest of the images are pretty true to the scans from my film.

I went to my first Rodeo the other day in hamilton Montana. It was the National Senior Pro Rodeo tour. Over-all I was blown away by the Cowboys and Cowgirls and there tenacity to wrangle the steers, ride the broncos and make insane hair-pin turns around barrels!

We spent last Sunday Funday exploring Paradise Valley, (Idaho) in a Mule packed with really good food, a cute puppy and some good friends!

Under the wide open skies of Wisdom Montana are fields and fields full of Sagebrush. For the non-allergenic type, the smell is very pleasant and calming while driving through the fields. I snapped some shots on our last Sunday afternoon day trip up to the Big Hole. We got to explore the mountain side and have a picnic with friends. Here are some images from the day trek.

As always, the Adventures continue here in Montana. Meeker our White Labrador is fast growing, now hitting the ripe old age of 4 months.

The past month has been spent with good friends and lots of outdoor time! Skeet shooting, mountain drives and some fun valley flying.
